If your item is heavily tarnished lightly moisten the surface to be cleaned prior to polishing. Caution: Do not use this polishing cloth on 24 karat gold, ivory, pearls, opals, coral, lapis, malachite and other soft porous gemstones. When in doubt have a professional jeweler clean your jewelry.
